The route travels from Baker Beach towards the Golden Gate and back, incorporating paved road, gravel, sand, and a wooden bridge. The course is not flat; it features a significant hill, narrow trails, stairs, and rocky terrain, making baby strollers unsuitable. Participants can run, walk, or attend the beach to commemorate the day for Reed, who was central to DSE’s annual Double Dipsea race for over ten years.
