Mutt Strut 5k Memphis 2026

Mutt Strut 5K Memphis is a charity 5K in Overton Park, starting at the Rainbow Lake Pavilion near Overton Bark dog park. The 3.1-mile run supports Dogs 2nd Chance, with in-person and virtual options for those outside Memphis. A ghost runner T-shirt option is available for supporters who wish to contribute without running. Every finisher receives a medal, making the event suitable for casual walkers and runners as well as those competing for age-group places. The course is contained within Overton Park, with parking available around the park and packet pickup before race morning. Dogs are welcome, with specific rules: short leashes only, no retractable leashes, no puppies under 12 weeks, and owners must be prepared to show a current rabies certificate if requested. Water for dogs is provided during and after the run. Awards are given to the top male and female finishers, masters, grand masters, senior grand masters, and the top three in age groups from young children to 80-plus.
