Ooh LaLa Chocolate Run * Walk 2026

The Ooh LaLa Chocolate Run & Walk, a chocolate-themed race morning, is held at 100 S. Third Street in Geneva, Illinois. It features a half marathon, a 5K run, and a 5K walk. The half marathon begins at 7:00 AM with a 3 1/2-hour course limit. The 5K run and 5K walk start at 7:30 AM. Participants in the 5K walk should start there, and half marathon runners must maintain a pace faster than 15 minutes per mile. The half marathon course includes aid stations at miles 2, 4, 6, 7, 9, 11, the turnaround, and the finish. These stations offer water and sugar-free Gatorade, positioned on both sides of the path to avoid crossing. All Chocolate Kitchen provides a chocolate experience, and all participants receive a custom finisher award or medal. Custom age-group awards are given for the half marathon and 5K. Overall winners are determined by gun time, while placing awards use chip time. Registration contributions support St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
