The OUC Orlando Half Marathon Weekend is a two-day running event held at Lake Eola Park in downtown Orlando. It features a half marathon, a 5K, and the DTO 16.2 Challenge for those running both races. The course utilizes Orlando's downtown streets, with runners returning to Lake Eola Park, which serves as the event hub and post-race gathering location.
Over 4,000 runners participate in the weekend's events, including the half marathon, 5K, and the 16.2-mile challenge presented by Orangetheory Fitness. This series marks 50 years of local running tradition and includes course entertainment, live music, local beer, and a lakeside party. Participants completing the races receive specific gear: a shirt and medal for the 5K, a quarter zip and medal for the half marathon, and a challenge gift and medal for the DTO 16.2 Challenge.
