This open water swim goes from Scripps Pier to La Jolla Cove. It is a timed swim for experienced ocean swimmers, expecting rough water conditions with challenging temperature and currents. San Diego Lifeguards provide safety support. A 90-minute time limit is enforced. Finishers get breakfast from Duke's of La Jolla, participant swag, and awards for top finishers and age group winners. Registration for the Pier to Cove Swim at Kellogg Park requires a walk to the Pier start.
