RiverBOO! Park 5K

RiverBOO! Park 5K is a sunset 5K run/walk in Riverview Park on Pittsburgh's Northside, presented by the City of Pittsburgh Office of Special Events. It is designed for families and runners alike, with a Halloween-season atmosphere, a youth costume contest for ages 0-15, and seasonal activities from community partners. The course winds through the park and circles the Allegheny Observatory on Observatory Hill before its final challenge: the last mile is almost entirely uphill. Shirts are provided to the first 200 registrants. Race-day access may involve partial road closures on Riverview Avenue, with staff directing drivers toward the Mairdale Street and Riverview Drive side of the park.
