Route 66 Race Across Kansas

The Route 66 Race Across Kansas allows runners to traverse Kansas's complete segment of Route 66, the highway's briefest portion in any state, within a single 13.2-mile event. This yearly half marathon takes place on the historic Mother Road, beginning at the Missouri-Kansas border and proceeding west across Kansas to the Oklahoma border. The course is straightforward: state line to state line, east to west, along a section of highway connected to Route 66 history and small-town American culture. Local towns provide support through aid stations and encouragement. The event typically features fun runs and family activities, welcoming participants beyond competitive half-marathoners, including walkers. Runners may compete individually or as part of a team.
