The PA Summer Biathlon at Camp Freedom challenges participants with Cross Country running and Rifle Marksmanship. Runners navigate a 1-mile loop, then enter the range to shoot 5 shots at 4.5-inch targets with a .22 caliber rifle. A missed target incurs a 70-meter penalty loop before repeating the 1-mile course. This format is completed twice, with prone and standing shooting stages. Proceeds benefit outdoor healing adventures for individuals with disabilities, Veterans, First Responders, their families, and Gold Star families.
