Santa’s Reindeer Run

Santa’s Reindeer Run is a 5K run/walk in downtown Charleston, South Carolina, welcoming families and pets. Now in its 35th year, the event has grown from a few hundred participants to over 3,500 runners and walkers. The event supports MUSC Shawn Jenkins Children’s Hospital in downtown Charleston. The hospital features an expanded neonatal intensive care unit, a floor for children with cancer, and South Carolina’s most comprehensive pediatric heart center. Costumes are encouraged, with contests for adults, children, groups, and dogs, and awards for the top three finishers in each category.
