Sgt. Bobby Swartz Memorial 5k

The Sgt. Bobby Swartz Memorial 5K is a 5k run/walk held at Spring Creek Trail in Edmond, Oklahoma, beginning at 9:00 AM. This race honors Sgt. Bobby Swartz, a veteran of the Oklahoma County Sheriff’s Office who served approximately 25 years before his death in the line of duty while serving an eviction notice. The event provides support for families of fallen first responders and law enforcement families via the 106 Memorial Foundation. This foundation was established to carry on Swartz’s service mission. Departments and agencies can compete for an Agency Award, presented to the group with the most registrants. The participants include runners, walkers, families, and first-responder teams.
