The bike route features 60% hilly gravel roads and 40% flat pavement on the Central Lakes Trail, totaling over 1,000 feet of elevation gain. Expect a demanding gravel section. The run course starts on hiking trails, then hits a gravel road leading to elevation at Ugly Duckling Lodge, offering scenic views of Swan Lake along its trail system. It's a mix of gravel road, prairie trail, and wooded paths. It's 'All Grit, No Chip' – timed manually.
