The Triple Crown 10K Night Trail Run Series takes runners to Wildwood, Missouri's trails after dark for three consecutive weeks in August. Each event is a 10K, designed for those who prefer steep terrain, headlamps, and late-evening trail running over flat road races.
The series features a hill progression: Bluff View Shuffle gains approximately 100 feet per mile, Eagle Valley Scramble increases this to about 130 feet per mile, and Chubb Crawl concludes the sequence at roughly 200 feet per mile. The courses utilize rugged St. Louis West County trails with challenging climbs and descents. Participants can register for all three races, select two, or enter a single event. Registration for all three races includes a custom cotton-poly short-sleeve shirt and a finisher sticker for each event, depicting its specific elevation profile.
