UpStander 5K 2026

Runners and walkers gather around Cincinnati's historic Union Terminal for the Upstander 5K, a 3.1-mile community race starting at 8:30 a.m. The event, formally the Upstander 5K, Family Day & Upstander Volunteer Expo, offers more than just a timed run. The route circles Union Terminal and passes through the West End and Over-the-Rhine neighborhoods. The Nancy & David Wolf Holocaust & Humanity Center organizes the race with the Cincinnati Museum Center. Proceeds support HHC's Cincy Upstander Project, which includes a city-wide art campaign, monthly programs, museum tours, and training. Children ages 3 to 12 can participate in the Upstander Kids Sprint before the 5K. The post-race area outside Union Terminal features live music, family activities, breakfast, drinks, FC Cincinnati activations, and pick-up pickleball.
