Vasaloppet USA 2027

Vasaloppet USA offers a cross-country ski race weekend in Mora, featuring freestyle races on Saturday and classic races on Sunday. The longest freestyle event is the 51km Vasa, with shorter options including the 34km Dala and the 12km Bellringer, plus a 12km team race. Classic skiers can choose a 42km race or a 21km half-distance event, while children can participate in Miniloppet races of 500m, 1km, and 4km. The weekend's activities extend beyond the start lines to include town venues. Bib pickup is available at Vasaloppet Headquarters and St. Mary's Catholic Church Parish Center. Awards for top finishers are Dala Horses, a Swedish-style detail reflecting the Vasaloppet name and Mora's setting. The schedule also features a Friday pasta dinner, pancake breakfasts, an art show at the Mora Library, Bingo at Kev's Depot, and a Vasaloppet Radio Show with music, skits, and comedy.
