Informazioni su questa gara
Panama City Beach IRONMAN Florida is a full-distance triathlon held annually in Panama City Beach, Florida. It takes place in November, forming part of a series that also features a May IRONMAN event. Participants complete the standard IRONMAN distances: a 2.4-mile swim, a 112-mile bike ride, and a 26.2-mile run. Established in November, the event is the longest continuously held IRONMAN race in North America.
The swim consists of two laps in the Gulf of Mexico, with a brief beach run between them. Water temperatures typically range in the mid-70s Fahrenheit, permitting wetsuit use. The bike course has its flat and fast profile, and the run is among the flattest on the IRONMAN circuit, including a segment within St. Andrew's State Park. This course attracts both first-time competitors and athletes aiming for personal records, as well as families drawn to the beach town's atmosphere after the race, which is considered among the top five IRONMAN event experiences.
