Altacher Silvesterlauf 2026

The Altacher Silvesterlauf starts and finishes at the music hall behind the middle school in Altach, Vorarlberg. It is a New Year's Eve run presented by Raiffeisenbank Montfort, with more than 2,000 runners expected. That makes it one of Vorarlberg's largest running events and the second-largest Silvesterlauf in Austria. The race base is on Kirchfeldstraße in Altach, and timing uses a transponder built into each bib. Runners can register online through RACE I RESULT. Part of the proceeds goes to aid organizations in Vorarlberg and to people in need in the amKumma region, so the event has a local charity role as well as a year-end racing one.
