Kurt Honisch Gedenkrennen

The Kurt Honisch Gedenkrennen is a traditional road bike race held in the Vienna Woods, beginning on the hill between Sittendorf and Dornbach, near the model airfield. It is organized as a compact, club-style event, not a large mass participation race. The rider limit is 120, race numbers require in-person collection, and late registration takes place at Gasthaus Dornbacherhof prior to the start. The race features two hilly routes: a 42 km course with 611 m of elevation gain for the women's D1-D2 and men's over-65 categories, and a 61 km course with 873 m of elevation gain for the men's M1-M4 categories. The Dornbacherhof also functions as the hub for late sign-ups and the awards presentation. The top three finishers in each category will receive trophies or medals and prizes, with an additional award designated for the fastest team.
