The Mountainbike Junior Festival is a July cross-country mountain bike race series in Stattegg, Styria, Austria, focused on young riders instead of adult elites. Bikeclub GIANT Stattegg organizes it at its MTB competence centre near Graz. It is listed on the Junior World Series calendar, offering UCI XCO racing and UCI points. The format provides junior women and men with a multi-day race setting, featuring several starts rather than a single championship-style event.
The festival includes five races across four courses: XCO circuits of 4.44 km with 250 m of climbing, 3.11 km with 177 m, and 2.10 km with 120 m. A Team Relay is also part of the program, allowing riders to compete in both individual cross-country racing and a team format. Its origins lie in the Graz/Stattegg cross-country scene, where previous UCI C1 and Junior World Series races were connected to Mountainbike Liga Austria and the local ECH trail network. The event targets riders still developing their skills, but its UCI status ensures they compete on technical courses for significant points.
