Neustifter Weinberglauf 2026

The Neustifter Weinberglauf is a small autumn hill race held at Weinhof Zimmermann on Mitterwurzergasse in Neustift am Walde, within Vienna's Döbling district. Participants can select from a 5 km short race, a 9 km long race, or a Kids Run covering approximately 900 meters. The event has a participant limit of 200, with most entries available online and a limited number reserved for on-site registration. The course winds through local vineyards, featuring both ascents and descents, presenting a compact mountain-style challenge rather than a flat city course. Categories are straightforward: children in the Kids Run and all other runners in the main races; there is no Nordic Walking category. Recent events have attracted numerous local runners from Döbling, with one edition seeing 156 participants across the three distances, and the race has proceeded regardless of windy or cool conditions.
