NÖ Frauenlauf 2026

The NÖ Frauenlauf is a women’s running event in St. Pölten, held annually at the end of August or the beginning of September at Sportzentrum NÖ by Ratzersdorfer See. It is one of Austria’s larger women’s races, offering options for beginners, hobby runners, experienced runners, and Nordic walkers, not solely a field for fast racers. The adult categories feature 2.5 km, 5.2 km, and 9.8 km runs, along with a 5.2 km Nordic Walking option. Friends, colleagues, and relatives can enter free team rankings, and Nordic walkers can also use the team format. A consistent participant is the group “Die Bäuerinnen,” whose members have attended for many years in green running shirts; participants can also register as part of that team across the adult categories.
