Silvesterlauf Graz

The MeinBezirk Silvesterlauf Graz is a New Year's Eve road race held in Graz, Austria. It begins at Mariahilferplatz at 1 PM. Participants can select a 5 km or 10 km distance; the primary loop is 5 km, which is run twice for the 10 km option. A distinct Kids Run commences earlier, at 12:30 PM, also in the vicinity of Mariahilferplatz. The course heads north from Mariahilferplatz towards Kalvarienberggürtel, then crosses the Mur river via a bike path. It returns south over the Erzherzog-Johann-Brücke, concluding at the starting point. The children's route remains closer to the square, utilizing Ökonomigasse, the rear of Mariahilferplatz, and Kosakengasse before looping back to the start area.
