The Tauern Circle begins in Schladming, Austria, offering an 8-kilometer obstacle course with approximately 300 meters of elevation gain and 18 obstacles. This late-June event is designed for individual participants and teams, with the primary event area located at Planai Stadium.
The course winds through Schladming’s town center, ascends past the Planai finish slope, and provides participants with unobstructed views of the Dachstein massif. The race, which started in the early 2020s with around 300 participants, now attracts a significantly larger field. Additionally, a Junior Race caters to children and teenagers aged 8 to 15, featuring a team category.
