Totes Gebirge Trail & Berglauf

The Totes Gebirge Trail & Berglauf is a trail run and mountain race held in Wörschach, Styria, Austria, within the Totes Gebirge mountains. Participants can select either a 7.7 km Berglauf featuring 700 meters of elevation gain or a 22.3 km trail race with 1500 meters of elevation gain. Both courses commence in Schönmoos and conclude at Liezener Hütte. This structure emphasizes an ascent from the valley towards a mountain hut, diverging from a typical return-to-town loop. The shorter route is direct and steep, whereas the longer course offers trail runners a more extensive challenge within the same mountainous terrain.
