The Munjip Trail defines Coastrek South Coast, tracing Eurobodalla's "wild coastline" through bushland, beaches, bays, headlands, and rock platforms. It possesses a "soulful" character, emerging from the trail's frequent openings onto "sweeping beaches, rocky headlands and peaceful bays." The stories and artwork of the Walbunja people lend the day significance beyond simply reaching checkpoints. Underfoot, expect a varied coastal terrain: compact dirt, sand, rock, bush tracks, and uneven sections requiring care if the weather changes. Teams of two or more traverse Corrigans Beach, Sunshine Bay, Surf Beach, and Malua Bay, utilizing Luv Stops for regrouping before the finish at Batemans Bay. The distinctive element is the shared mission: hiking for mental health, fundraising for Beyond Blue, and embodying the name Munjip, which means walking together.
