Geoff Watt Memorial Fun Run

The Geoff Watt Memorial Athletics Track anchors this event: a community track meet, fun run, and festival combined. The Geoff Watt Memorial Fun Run pays tribute to a "marathon/ultra marathon runner & adventurer" and holds the distinction of being "Gippsland’s longest running Fun Run event" without fanfare. The racing includes an "Undulating" longer course and a flatter run with a slight rise before the drink station, alongside off-road laps on the athletics track and trail. Families, kids, club runners, workplaces, and teams participate together. Australian Athletics Ambassadors lead infield skills sessions, a special commemorative medal awaits finishers, and alongside live music, food and wine, vintage cars, and entertainment, there are fancy dress prizes.
