Mad Max Marathon Festival

Broken Hill Racecourse hosts this desert running festival, with dirt tracks, racecourse rails, and the desert landscape as backdrop. The course loops around the racecourse, then extends beside Racecourse Road and the Silver City Highway before returning runners for a lap of the track.
