Carisbrooke Park Reserve is located in Salisbury. The start and finish are on grass, leading runners onto paths and trails along the Little Para River. It operates as a club-style running event, focused on "fun, fitness, family and our great outdoor environment." Beginners, children, parents, and regular runners participate together. Notable features include the shaded creek lines, the "scent of eucalypts," and the rhythm of running through open parkland instead of on roads.
Expect a course with bitumen paths, off-road trails, and grass. The course is mostly flat with gentle undulations. Longer routes go west past Little Para Golf Course towards Port Wakefield Road, returning via the "classic Carisbrooke loop." There are metal barriers at a couple of underpasses. Runners share public paths, requiring them to stay left for cyclists and faster runners, maintaining a practical, family-friendly atmosphere.
