Seaside Coastal Run

Semaphore South Foreshore hosts the start and finish on the coastal bike/walk path opposite South Terrace, with the Esplanade nearby. Seaside Coastal Run offers an "accessible and affordable coastal fun running event" feel, returning for its 11th year. Part proceeds support the Australian Cancer Research Foundation. The course is a "certified AIMS-measured" loop along the coast, designed so you are "never more than approximately 5 km from the aid station." Runners, joggers, and walkers will share the path, contributing to a "yellow-themed community atmosphere." Yellow socks are encouraged, and a trophy is awarded to the best representation of the theme.
