Special Olympics Kuringgai Chase Fun Run

Claude Cameron Grove serves as the central point, with participants starting and finishing at this local gathering spot after traversing the "leafy streets of Wahroonga." The Kuringgai Chase Fun Run, benefiting the Special Olympics Sydney Upper North Shore Club and its over 200 athletes, has the atmosphere of a community gathering and carnival, resembling a club morning more than a large-scale event. The route includes a challenging incline known as "Kokoda Hill," followed by rewarding "views over the Ku-Ring-Gai National Park." A shorter, accessible race is also available, ensuring a mix of runners, walkers, teams, families, Special Olympics athletes, and Companion Card holders, fostering an inclusive family event atmosphere.
