Binna Burra begins high in the Gold Coast Hinterland, with Lamington and Springbrook National Parks forming the backdrop. Wild Earth Coastal High is a trail run focused on the best paths South-East Queensland offers, traversing World-Heritage listed rainforest, open forest, cliff tops, and long hinterland ascents.
The course starts on the road, moving into technical single track on the Caves Circuit, then descends through gums to Numinbah Valley. It includes the stairs to Apple Tree Park, a section near Little Nerang Creek, rainforest trails on the climb to Springbrook, and finishes by Purlingbrook Falls. Runners receive aid station support, bus transfer, electronic timing, race photos, a choice of a personalised tee or singlet, and a finisher's medal with a race day gift.
