From Woodford into Euroka Campground in Blue Mountains National Park, this new edition of the Woodford to Glenbrook Classic feels like a fast, stripped-back fire-road race, not a technical trail puzzle. The character is in the line choice: hard-packed fire roads, patches of pea-gravel, and baby-head rocks await if you drift off the smooth strip.
Most of it runs downhill like a drag race, but the rhythm is broken by "5 or 6 short sharp climbs" that will sort out legs quickly. Near the start, a bumpy section challenges riders to go through "without touching the brakes." Later comes "Suicide Corner": a steep left-hand hairpin into a long right-hander, both corrugated with braking bumps. The finish funnels from fire road toward the open grass at Euroka, with just enough roughness to keep you honest.
