The Brabantse Wouden Trail is a multi-day ultra-trail event held at The Shelter in Korbeek-Dijle, Flemish Brabant, Belgium. Taking place over a July weekend, it features five distances: 44 km, 76 km, 111 km, 161 km, and 201 km. The shortest distance is a substantial forest trail day, involving 575 meters of elevation gain and a 7-hour time limit. The longest distance covers 201 km with 3,050 meters of climbing, allowing participants up to 46 hours to complete.
The courses traverse the Brabantse Wouden forests near Korbeek-Dijle, covering Zoniënwoud, Kapucijnenbos, Meerdaalwoud, Mollendaalbos, Heverleebos, Kouterbos, Margijsbos, Schaatbroekbos, Rodebos, Rondebos, and Bois de Laurentsart. Navigation relies solely on GPX files, as there are no course markers; live tracking is provided. The 111 km, 161 km, and 201 km races include drop bag support at control points, and the longer distances also offer warm aid stations alongside basic provisions.
