Kleitse Kermisjogging is a Monday evening run in July, held in Kleit, a village within Maldegem, East Flanders, Belgium. This local series offers races from 250 metres for toddlers to 10 kilometres for adults, and this year marks its eighteenth running.
The schedule begins with separate 250-metre races for toddler girls and boys. It continues with 500-metre and 1,000-metre children’s races, followed by 2.5 km, 5 km, 7.5 km, and 10 km races later in the evening. Registration is on the day at sporthal De Berken; no advance entry is required. Showers and changing rooms are available in the sports hall, and participants receive prizes in kind. The event is organized with Sportdienst Maldegem, giving it the character of a community sports night rather than a large commercial event.
