Long Course Weekend Belgium 2026

Long Course Weekend Belgium is a three-day swim-bike-run event held in Nieuwpoort, located on Belgium's coast. The event format distributes the sports across Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Athletes have the option to compete in a single discipline, combine several shorter events, or undertake the Full LCW, which consists of a 3.8 km swim, a 180 km bike ride, and a 42.2 km marathon-distance run. The swim component features 1.9 km and 3.8 km options. The Cycle Flanders Fields ride offers 45 km, 90 km, and 180 km routes. The Nieuwpoort Marathon program includes 5K, 10K, half marathon, and marathon distances. The course utilizes the coastline and the historic Flanders Fields. Full LCW finishers receive a fourth medal in addition to those earned from individual events. This Belgian race is part of the broader Long Course Weekend series, which also includes events in Wales and the Netherlands.
