Natuurloop Zonnebeke

Natuurloop Zonnebeke is a recreational nature run in Zonnebeke, featuring mostly unpaved routes with distance options from 10 to 45 kilometers. Runners use a free-start format, making the event feel more like a flexible trail day than a strictly timed road race. A kids run of approximately 3 kilometers is also offered, winding through the castle domain, with a small gift for every child at the finish. The longer routes connect public green areas including the castle domain, the Polygone, Reutelbos, the clay pits, the Gasthuisbossen, and the Palingbeek. The organizers link these locations using both well-known and less-traveled paths, often incorporating private land that runners typically cannot access. Aid stations are provided, and the first 2,500 registered participants receive a complimentary item.
