Trail des 600 Boitheux is a Belgian trail running series held in Theux, Wallonia, offering four distances: 11 km, 22 km, 33 km, and 66 km. Typically held in early September, it's a nature-focused event, with over 90% of each course crossing green paths, including forest, technical sections, and historical sites typically off-limits to runners. The 66 km option presents a significant ultra-style challenge with 2380 m of elevation gain, and participants have described the 33 km course as demanding.
The race is put on by Les Boitheux, whose motto humorously suggests the aim is to finish without a limp. The start and finish are located at Salle de Spixhe in Theux. The event is known for its atmosphere before and after the run, as well as the running itself. Aid stations provide both drinks and food, though participants must bring their own cup or bottle as none are provided at feed points. The 33 km and 66 km races have previously served as the Belgian Trail and Ultra-Trail championships, and the event is recognized in the UTMB Index. One past edition directed its proceeds to flood victims, and on another occasion, organizers cancelled the event due to concerns about maintaining quality standards, offering full refunds to registered runners.
