Oasis ZooRun

The Oasis ZooRun guides participants through the Toronto Zoo in Scarborough, offering a 10K, a 5K, and a CubRun for children and families. This yearly Canada Running Series event, held in partnership with the Toronto Zoo, provides both in-person and virtual participation options. The course winds through the zoo's grounds, making the location as significant as the race distance. Funds are raised for Toronto Zoo Wildlife Conservancy projects, with a conservation theme extending to a silent auction featuring animal-created art. The diverse group of 10K runners, 5K runners, walkers, children, and fundraisers contributes to a community atmosphere rather than a purely competitive one.
