Shoppers Drug Mart® Run for Women - Whitby 2026

The Shoppers Drug Mart® Run for Women in Whitby takes place at Ontario Shores Centre for Mental Health Sciences on Gordon Street. The race morning features a 1K Little Steps event, a 10K, and a 5K. Participants should arrive around 8:00 a.m. The children’s 1K begins first, followed by a group welcome and warm-up before the 10K and 5K races start. The event combines racing with fundraising, having registered 1,459 participants and raising funds for women’s mental health care at Ontario Shores. The cause is local: proceeds benefit the Shoppers Drug Mart® Perinatal Mental Health Clinic and other women’s mental health programs at Ontario Shores. The clinic offers short-term consultation and treatment for perinatal mood and anxiety disorders. The hospital programs assist women with depression, anxiety, trauma, and other mental health concerns. Support aids inpatient and outpatient services for women of all ages, attracting runners for fitness, family, workplace teams, and personal reasons related to mental health care.
