The Brugger Abendrennen is an evening road cycling series in Brugg, Switzerland, organized by RB Brugg, and it marks 60 years of the local race. While listed as regional training, the program offers more than a basic club workout, with separate starts for youth riders, elite women, open-category riders, hobby racers, and paracycling handbikers throughout the evening.
The racing takes place on a compact 960 m lap, allowing spectators and helpers to easily follow multiple passes instead of waiting for riders on a long circuit. U11 and U13 riders compete over 5.76 km (six laps), U15 riders over 9.6 km (ten laps), and the Open field races 57.6 km (60 laps) for E/A/M and Hobby A categories. The handbike race is a 25-minute plus two laps points race, and U17 men begin with a handicap advantage over the juniors, introducing a tactical element to the shared schedule.
