The Alpstein Crossing is a late-summer mountain race held in Schwende-Rüte, Switzerland, within the Alpstein region. Participants can select between 30 km or 50 km trail distances, positioning it within the mountain endurance category rather than standard road racing.
The event also features a Hike & Fly option, designated as a “flugstrecke.” This involves participants combining hiking with paragliding. Additionally, an 8-hour team race is offered, broadening the event's format beyond a straightforward single-distance trail run.
