La Verticale 2901 2026

La Verticale 2901 is a Swiss Strava-based race challenge that runs from late July through the end of September. Entrants sign up through Strava, use a phone app or connected watch to record their effort, and publish the activity so it counts. The main event is joined by a new companion event, la Verticl'ette. There is no single mass start: participants head out on the route they choose and log it themselves. Results are split by men and women, with separate senior and master rankings for under-40s and runners aged 40 or over. First finishers can earn prize money, male and female records each carry a 300 CHF bonus, and finishers can pick up a souvenir prize at café-tea room 2901 after paying the event fee.
