Santarun Bern

At Santarun Bern, participants exchange technical shirts for Santa suits and gather in Bern for a relaxed evening fun run. The event provides two flat routes, 2.6 km and 5.2 km, with no elevation changes. Both adults and children begin together at 19:30. The atmosphere resembles a Christmas gathering more than a competitive race. Mulled wine is served instead of sports drinks, and raclette replaces the typical post-run bananas. Markus Ryffel's AG organizes the event, which is a Swiss Running Member event with a Swiss Runners Ticket. Five francs from each entry fee support youth programs.
