Winter Trail des Patrouilleurs

Winter Trail des Patrouilleurs is a snow-running trail race in Crans-Montana, Canton of Valais, Switzerland, held in mid-January. Also known as “La Pat Patrouille des neiges,” it currently offers two distances: 10 km and 20 km, both designed for winter conditions, not ordinary road racing. The shorter route climbs about 500 metres, while the 20 km option adds approximately 800 metres of ascent. Runners navigate snowy mountain terrain near Crans-Montana, with uphill sections being a key feature. The field is small, fostering a local atmosphere, with a previous edition attracting just over 100 participants. A past 26 km course featured 1,600 metres of climbing, indicating the event's focus on challenging winter mountain running from its inception.
