Bašťanská šestka

Bašťanská šestka is a 5.6 km community race in Baška, run alongside the dam rather than on a city course. The name suggests a "six," but the listed distance is slightly shorter, and the event is structured around a relaxed local race day with categories starting in sequence. The program begins with the youngest children, with benjamins running with their parents before the youth races and then the women’s and men’s fields. One edition saw over three hundred runners in total, including 77 benjamins with parents, 220 youth racers, 47 women, and 56 men. The adult race circles the dam, medals are awarded to the top finishers, and a tombola provides prizes beyond the podium. The race report emphasizes participation over the finishing order.
