Běh na Žaltman is a short hill-climb race starting in Malé Svatoňovice in the Královéhradecký region of Czechia. The start is on the town square, with registration at the municipal office. The route covers approximately 2.8 to 3 km and ascends 340 m. The focus is on rapid ascent rather than a sustained road-race pace. Organizers state it is the shortest, steepest path to Žaltman.
The course starts with about 500 m on asphalt along Nádražní and Schejbalova streets, then passes through a small forest near a wayside cross. It continues over Zadní hory to the crossroads by Šrejberka, turns left into the forest toward Bílý kůl, descends briefly on the green trail, and then climbs via a back footpath to the observation tower. The Redpoint team organizes the race. Markings consist of red-and-white tape and arrows. Finishers receive warm tea, cookies, and fruit at the summit.
