Běhej lesy Klínovec is the Klínovec event in Běhej lesy, a yearly Czech and Slovak nature-running series taking place from April to October. The series features eight races on natural terrain, with events set in forests, mountain areas, near castles, quarries, and other locations runners don't typically race through. At Klínovec, participants can select from 6 km, 11 km, or 23 km courses, making the event suitable for walkers and charity participants as well as those seeking a longer mountain run.
The series began with four races and expanded throughout the Czech Republic, later adding a Slovak counterpart named Behaj lesmi. Families attend because the schedule includes children’s races, team events, and a short charity run; the PENNY run covers approximately 4 to 6 km, has no time limit, and benefits seniors via Život 90. Overall standings award points to all finishers, consider a runner’s top six results from the eight-race season, and maintain separate rankings for short and long courses.
