Běžecká série Berounka - Karlštejn

The Berounka - Karlštejn race is a 9.6 km evening trail event beginning at 6 PM from Autokemp Karlštejn, near the Berounka river. The course ascends 310 meters, presenting a short but challenging run with a significant hill, distinct from a flat road race. Online registration is open until 5 PM, with participants advised to arrive by 5:45 PM to collect their race bibs at the venue. The course begins with an immediate ascent from the Karlštejn camp, proceeding through fields, meadows, and forest towards the Malá Amerika quarry. Following a circuit around the quarry, runners will follow the red St. James's Way trail towards Karlštejn Castle, before descending from the castle grounds to the finish. The route is marked with red-and-white flags and red ground arrows. A discount on entry is available with a voucher for the full 12-race series or a 6-race voucher; on-site registration incurs a higher fee. Refreshments and bag storage are provided at the camp, and the top three finishers in each category will be awarded medals and diplomas.
