CaniKačinaCross is a small canicross race held at Kačina Castle, an Empire-style chateau near Kutná Hora in Central Bohemia. Participants run short, fast courses of approximately 2 to 4.5 km with their dogs. The route is described by the organizers as quick and not demanding. This is a hobby, one-day event, open to individuals with or without a musher's license. Registration is exclusively online. The race takes place in the castle park, offering a setting akin to a run through a historic estate rather than a typical road race. The event also features a no-dog run, children's races (with and without dogs), and a longer dogtrekking option of about 15 km. Categories include separate men's and women's starts, as well as classes for runners with smaller dogs up to 9.9 kg. The series is relatively new, with its first edition held in June and the subsequent one scheduled for autumn.
