ČEZ RunTour Brno is a one-day stop in the Czech RunTour series, held by Brněnská přehrada, the reservoir on the edge of Brno. Adults can choose 3 km, 5 km, or 10 km races, while children have 500 m and 1 km runs. The event also includes relay formats, with 2x5 km and 4x2.5 km options for runners who want to share the distance. It is built for families and casual runners as much as club runners, with the series focused on getting people active rather than chasing record times.
The 5 km and 10 km routes are certified by the Czech Athletics Association, and the final course map is published at least a month before race day. Finishers receive a metal medal, a downloadable diploma, and free photos from the course and finish line by email. Entry includes a race bib with chip timing, official and net times, intermediate splits, bag storage, showers, and refreshments on selected routes and at the finish. The event also has family activities, and 50 CZK from each entry fee goes to charity.
