Gladiator Race Český ráj is a 4 km obstacle course race held in the Český ráj region of the Czech Republic. The race center is located at Komárovský rybník near Branžež. This event focuses on obstacles rather than being a road race; participants navigate between running segments and challenges that involve climbing barriers, swinging, carrying objects, crawling, and ascending a rope net. Starts are issued in intervals, and timing is managed using wristband chips.
The course incorporates the local landscape, featuring sandy paths, pine forests, water elements, and routes around sandstone formations. The race concludes in a rocky-city environment, with water obstacles being a significant feature. It attracts obstacle-race enthusiasts, individuals seeking a challenge over a shorter distance, and spectators interested in the associated activities. ALPA collaborates with the series, offering traditional massages, and the race center provides amenities such as parking, changing facilities, refreshments, restrooms, bag storage, and finisher medals.
